Residents of Mount Vernon Towers celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a party! Festivities began with a toast to the Irish and a green themed buffet. Dancing ensued to theme music of a local band. The ladies and gents of MVT came out in style. It was delightful to see so many residents in shades of green, hats, bow ties, necklaces. Similes abounded and residents enjoyed the cheery glow of the Irish! A resident, Ms. Atchison said, “I may be English, but I love celebrating with the Irish!” as she laughed with her dear friend Ms. Smith.

The Activities Department at Mount Vernon Towers is proud to host community events like the St. Patrick’s Day Party. The Activities Department plan weekly activities for residents. For holidays, Mount Vernon Towers goes all out! When considering MVT as your future home, please remember to hold on to your favorite holiday theme clothes! Many are saddened when they leave their “whole home” holiday decorations and then happily surprised to find that that Mount Vernon Towers picks up where they left off! Old residents welcome new residents into the fold and through the work of the Activities Department, our community thrives!
