25 Jan NCL-Dunwoody Chapter Hosts Puttin’ on the Ritz Tea Party for ‘Nifty Nineties’ at Mount Vernon Towers on January 31
On Sunday afternoon, January 31, 2016, the dining room of Mount Vernon Towers, the senior independent living community in the heart of Sandy Springs, will resemble a swanky New York club. Members of the National Charity League, Inc. – Dunwoody Chapter will host a Puttin’ on the Ritz party for the ‘Nifty Nineties’ – a vibrant group of 90+ year-old residents who live at Mount Vernon Towers. Everybody is asked to dress in black and white. Ladies will want to wear a fancy hat, while gentlemen are invited to put on their bow ties and top hats.
This will be the eleventh year the NCL – Dunwoody Chapter is hosting a tea party at Mount Vernon Towers. National Charity League, Inc. is a mother-daughter organization dedicated to fostering the mother-daughter relationship through community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. Each chapter of National Charity League, Inc. consists of mothers and their daughters in grades seven through twelve. Each mother and daughter serves at least 20 philanthropic hours per year.
Puttin’ on the Ritz is expected to draw more than 200 people for a lively, fun afternoon, including the NCL mothers and daughters.
