28 Oct Coming in November: “Mostly Motown”
Directed by the magnificent Shelly Gianino, a resident at Mount Vernon Towers, the employees of the independent living community in the heart of Sandy Springs will again host a special evening for the 300+ people who live here. For two nights in a row, some thirty employees will put on a magnificent Talent Show called “Mostly Motown.”
Mrs. Gianino enjoys the big task of coordinating the different acts and highlighting the talent and showmanship of the individual staff members, who consider the residents at Mount Vernon Towers as members of their own family.
Rehearsal has started – so make sure to mark your calendars now to attend the lively, hour-long show on November 10 or 11, 2016. The performers include a number of new staff members as well as employees who have been with Mount Vernon Towers for more than ten years. The employee talent show is certainly a unique way to show how much people enjoy working here, or as Activities Director Angie Payne notes, “…it is a great way for all of us to have fun and bring joy to our community. Everybody looks forward to our annual talent show!”
