Nancy Hunt: “Right in the Middle of Life”

nancy huntNancy Hunt, one of the newest residents of Mount Vernon Towers, just moved into her own condominium in October 2013. She explains why she selected the independent living community in the heart of Sandy Springs after her husband died earlier this year:

“I wanted to live in a community that is located in the heart of things, and Mount Vernon Towers is near so many shops, restaurants, and churches in Sandy Springs. I enjoy walking, and if it is too far, I can take public transportation. In addition, Mount Vernon Towers provides excellent transportation services – which is a must, since I don’t drive,” notes Mrs. Hunt.

Already, she has made a number of new friends at Mount Vernon Towers. “The residents as well as the staff have gone out of their way to make me feel at home here, and I enjoy speaking to many people. A kind word or a smile can really lift my – and their – spirits!”

After being a resident of Tucker (GA) for ten years, Mrs. Hunt, encouraged by her mother who already knew a number of people living here, selected Mount Vernon Towers. “It’s a good investment, but that was not my main consideration. We also considered the community’s excellent dining facilities offering heart-healthy meals, and its many fun activities.”

“Although moving here was a big adjustment, I do love it here,” says Mrs. Hunt. “I live a full, independent life, and am surrounded by some of the friendliest people you can imagine. Above all, this location is perfect: right in the middle of life.”
