Living alone has its perks, but when the years start to catch up with you, it can become increasingly

According to the statistics revealed by the survey, 53% of young Americans between the ages of 35 and
64 have no issues inviting their aging parents to come live with them if the latter could not take care of
themselves. 43% of those 65 years of age or older had no issues with this set up. However, surprisingly,
a mere 31% of the total United States population would willingly consent to live with a younger family
member if they were too old/sick to live on their own. Plus, only 25% of those who were older than 65,
were more than happy to move in with a healthier and younger family member if they could help it.

The reason for the increase in popularity of independent living Atlanta may be due to improvements
in health care and the pending affordable health care act. Many senior citizens are aging well due
to their positive attitudes as well. However, 25% showed concerns for future ailments and the
physical limitations they may be burdened with as the years pass them by. 15% were scared that they
might be left alone during that time while 19% do not want to burden their families with any extra
responsibilities.

It may have its perks when you are young and full of life, but it’s a double
