Mount Vernon Towers, the independent living community in Sandy Springs, has seen a marked increase in its sales and leasing activities since the beginning of 2013. Through March, Mount Vernon Towers has sold or leased more than twice the number of condominiums than during the same period last year.
“Late last year, we implemented a new marketing campaign, and the results have been immediate, ” says Tommy Miller, Executive Director of Mount Vernon Towers. “We decided that we did no longer wanted to be the ‘best-kept secret’ in the heart of Sandy Springs.”

“Throughout the city, housing inventory is decreasing, and pricing is going back up. We can tell that people who were considering to move here are now deciding not to wait any longer,” notes Miller. “But financial considerations are not necessarily the primary reasons for moving to Mount Vernon Towers. Each buyer has a different motivation or is swayed by a different feature.
“For some, it is the size of the unit, for others, it is our outstanding dining service: they just don’t want to cook any more. Some people are really impressed by the transportation arrangements we offer, while yet others appreciate the 24/7 emergency call system.”
