10 Dec Mount Vernon Tower Residents Celebrate Christmas in Style
“One of the biggest parties of the year is our annual Christmas party, and you know that’s significant because we have some great events year-round,” says Tommy Miller, Executive Director of Mount Vernon Towers, the independent living community in the heart of Sandy Springs. This year, the lavish Christmas party will take place on Thursday, December 13.
“We do it up right! This year, we are serving steak and lobster for dinner to the 300-plus residents and guests we are expecting; there will be live music, including a harpist playing in our beautifully-decorated lobby; and of course, the table decorations, lights and holiday greenery are going to be just magnificent.
Everyone dresses in their holiday finest – sequins and silk and bowties add to the festive atmosphere, and all guests are invited to come early and enjoy a holiday cocktail at one of the two pre-dinner bars.
As is tradition at Mount Vernon Towers, there will singing, dancing and sharing – including an opportunity to contribute to the Salvation Army.
