12 Dec Mount Vernon Towers Annual Meeting: Looking Forward to 2015
Earlier this month, the owners at Mount Vernon Towers held their annual meeting where they approved new terms for Ralph Marion and Bob Parsons.
Both were re-elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Marion will again serve as Chairman of the Board, while Mr. Parsons continues to function in his role as the non-resident member of the Board.
All residents and staff of Mount Vernon Towers join in thanking these dedicated individuals for their time and effort on behalf of the entire Mount Vernon Towers community and look forward to a successful start of the new year.
2015 Budget
During the annual meeting, the owners also approved the 2015 budget, which includes the complete renovation of the elevators in the Towers.
“After almost 30 years, it is imperative for the safety and smooth operation of the elevators to undertake this major upgrade,” according to Chris Peterson, Executive Director of Mount Vernon Towers. “The renovation will include a complete new digital operating system as well as the refurbishment of the cabins.”
